Alison Royce has successfully delivered five story and art projects working with artists and makers to create story installations for a wide range of spaces both indoors and out.
Alison trained in Theatre Studies at Warwick University and then as a specialist drama teacher.
She taught for many years at Queen Mary’s Sixth Form College in Basingstoke and subsequently as Head of Drama in an Islington secondary school. She then went on to work as an actor, director, workshop leader and core-company member at York theatre Royal Y.P.T.
Alison has worked freelance for : Theatr Clwyd, Red Ladder, Humberside T.I.E., Big Brum Theatre Co., Yorkshire Women’s Theatre, Red Shift and Youth Theatre Yorkshire.
Alison was Co-Chair of Sprout Community Arts, a voluntary led community arts project in south London where she developed her skills as a community story and arts projects organiser.
Alison is passionate about stories. Her projects are inspirational, engaging, provocative and superbly well organised. She has excellent relationship building and communication skills and a strong artistic vision.
